FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Frequently Asked Questions...Answered!

What hardware platform does Virtual Hold run on?
Virtual Hold runs on Windows 2003 servers with Intel-based processors. Once you have selected your preferred hardware vendor, we will provide you with a recommended configuration guide that makes your procurement process quick and easy.

How long is the implementation process for Virtual Hold?
After you have completed your server setup and provided us with remote access, Virtual Hold installation can be completed in only 3 weeks! During that time, our Project Team will configure and test your system.

How do you test the Virtual Hold system before it goes into production?
For each installation, we develop a System Acceptance Test (SAT). The SAT tests all of the features and functionality of the system and is conducted by our Project Team with the customer. In addition, we have the ability to perform a remote load test with our Empirix Hammer system. Our Quality Assurance Engineers work with our Reporting Analysts to analyze the Hammer test results and ensure 100% functionality and accuracy. These reports may be provided to you upon request.

What kind of maintenance is needed for Virtual Hold?
The system's maintenance should closely follow the schedule you have in place today for other servers on your network. Since this is a telephony application and not a file server, special consideration to call center operations should be given when determining the maintenance schedule.
