Virtual Hold Technology Files Intellectual Property Lawsuit
Lawsuit Alleges Genesys Labs Infringes Callback Technology Patent
Akron, OH – April 20, 2004 – Virtual Hold Technology® LLC (VHT) announced today that it has filed a suit for patent infringement against Genesys Labs (a subsidiary of Alcatel, NYSE: ALA). The lawsuit, filed in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Texas, alleges infringement of U.S. Patent No. 6,563,921, which was awarded to VHT on May 13, 2003. This patent protects VHT’s queue management software incorporating callback technology. VHT also holds additional patents on callback solutions.
